Traditional Uses

In traditional Chinese wellness practice, buckwheat hull pillows have long been used as a firm, breathable filling believed to help keep the head and neck cool and comfortably supported during sleep. Mugwort (Ai Ye) is traditionally associated with warmth and comfort and is commonly placed near the body in sachets, moxibustion, and herbal pillows. This pillow combines both materials in a contoured format for everyday home rest.
